PHILADELPHIA, PA — Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) has added five colleges and universities to its collegiate hospitality business, expanding its dining operations across four states with programs spanning food service, catering, retail and, at one campus, an integrated dining and facilities model.
The new partnerships cover Bridgewater College and Randolph-Macon College in Virginia, Dallas Baptist University in Texas, the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
At the University of Detroit Mercy, where Aramark already provides facilities management services, the company is adding dining and wellness through a program called Titan Hospitality. The model combines those operations with existing facilities services and includes food-security initiatives, performance nutrition and Aramark’s CampusPulse technology.
New Mexico Tech will introduce NMT Hospitality as part of a broader overhaul that includes a major renovation of the Fidel Center. The project will add Aramark’s Gathering Place dining concept, featuring regional menu items, while retail operations will include The Drop, a multi-brand concept with mobile ordering.
At Bridgewater College, Aramark is launching BC Dining, centered on The Gathering Place at The K, which will offer all-day and late-night dining. The partnership also includes Smitty’s Café, an updated campus store and an expanded catering operation under the 1880 Catering name.
Dallas Baptist University’s program will combine campus dining with performance-focused nutrition for student athletes. Aramark said technology-based insights will be used to shape dining operations and student services.
At Randolph-Macon College, RMC Dining will expand made-to-order options at Estes Dining Hall and add a True Balance station for students and other guests with food allergies. Mobile ordering, vending, convenience markets and catering are also included.
The Randolph-Macon partnership also covers Birdsong Café and Macon Coffee Co., while Aramark’s Yellow Apron Program will be used to collect student feedback on dining operations.
