PHILADELPHIA, PA — Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) has secured a multi-year contract to provide hospitality and facilities services for a major AI data center colocation provider, extending the company’s push into the rapidly expanding infrastructure sector fueled by artificial intelligence investment.
The agreement calls for Aramark Nexus to support workforce communities at multiple project sites, including locations in Wyoming and Texas, as developers race to build hyperscale data centers that require large, specialized construction and operations teams.
Aramark reported the contract includes dining, housekeeping, facilities management and laundry services, along with management of fitness centers, convenience retail and entertainment amenities designed for on-site workers.
The award follows the launch of Aramark Nexus in spring 2026, when the company entered the AI infrastructure market after being selected by a global hyperscale data center operator to provide integrated hospitality and facilities services across multiple locations. Aramark recently began operations at its first Texas site under that earlier agreement.
Pat Liebler, president and CEO of Aramark Nexus, indicated the company sees workforce services as an increasingly important component of large-scale AI infrastructure projects.
“As these projects increase in scale and geographic reach, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients attract and retain skilled labor through premium amenities that enhance the employee experience and support project success,” Liebler stated.
He added that growing demand for experienced workers in data center construction is increasing the importance of employee accommodations and support services.
The identity of the AI data center colocation provider was not disclosed.
Aramark stated the Nexus operating model is designed to expand across multiple regions, industries and project types as demand for AI-related infrastructure continues to grow.
