NEWARK, DE — The Sallie Mae Fund, in collaboration with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, has announced that applications are now open for the 2025-26 Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program. This initiative aims to increase access to higher education by supporting students who demonstrate financial need and academic or extracurricular excellence.
The program offers scholarships of up to $10,000 each to 40 high school seniors pursuing two- or four-year degree programs, vocational training, or professional certifications. Additionally, 10 scholarships of the same value will be awarded to graduate students making significant contributions to their communities.
Since 2021, this partnership has awarded nearly $4 million in scholarships, benefiting over 1,100 students. The program emphasizes education affordability, providing meaningful resources to help students achieve their academic and career goals.
