HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania motorists will be unable to access driver’s license and photo center services on June 19 as PennDOT closes all licensing facilities statewide in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said all driver’s license and photo centers, including its full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed Friday, June 19, for Juneteenth National Freedom Day.

The closure will temporarily suspend in-person services for driver’s licenses, photo identification cards, and other driver-related transactions, requiring customers to use online options or wait until facilities reopen.

According to PennDOT, online services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and do not carry additional processing fees.
