MALVERN, PA — Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) will use the PCIM Europe 2026 trade show in Germany to promote power electronics technologies tied to electric vehicles, renewable energy infrastructure, and industrial electrification as manufacturers increase investment in energy-efficiency systems and high-voltage power conversion.
The company disclosed plans to exhibit passive components, semiconductors, and system reference designs during the June 9-11 event in Nuremberg, where suppliers are competing for market share in sectors tied to electrification, decarbonization, and data center power demand.
Vishay stated it will showcase silicon carbide MOSFET-based power modules, DC-link capacitors, power inductors, current-sensing resistors, and optoelectronic components intended for electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, industrial drives, and energy storage applications.
The company is also highlighting reference designs aimed at accelerating development of DC-coupled electric vehicle charging systems that transfer photovoltaic energy directly to EVs without relying on alternating-current coupling architectures.
The presentation reflects broader industry efforts to improve power density, thermal management, and system efficiency as automakers, utilities, and industrial operators expand electrified infrastructure.
Vishay indicated its exhibit will include technologies targeting automotive, industrial, renewable energy, telecommunications, and data center applications, where demand for high-efficiency power conversion systems has increased alongside growth in AI computing and electrification initiatives.
Company representative Simon Goodwin is scheduled to deliver a presentation during the conference focused on future DC-coupled EV charging reference designs and photovoltaic-to-vehicle energy transfer systems.
