WAYNE, PA — Stile by Per Lei will open its seventh boutique Aug. 26 at Gateway Shopping Center in Wayne, extending the fashion retailer’s footprint across the Philadelphia suburbs and placing another location near an existing base of Main Line customers.
The boutique at 125 E. Swedesford Road will join the shopping center alongside retailers including Trader Joe’s and Starbucks. The expansion builds on Stile locations in markets including Newtown Square and Suburban Square.
Founder Candice Caprice characterized Wayne as a logical extension of the business because customers from the surrounding community already shop at the company’s other Main Line-area stores.
“So many of our customers who shop our Newtown Square and Suburban Square locations are already part of this community,” Caprice stated. “Opening at Gateway allows us to be more accessible to the women who have supported us for years while introducing Stile to even more women.”
The Wayne opening brings Stile to seven locations, reflecting the retailer’s continued expansion throughout the Philadelphia suburbs. The company did not disclose the size of the new store, investment in the location or employment figures.
The boutique will carry everyday apparel, seasonal merchandise and trend-focused pieces, along with the personalized styling services that form part of Stile’s retail model. Its opening will coincide with the arrival of the company’s fall collections.
Stile has positioned personalized service and coordinated wardrobe styling as points of differentiation for its brick-and-mortar stores at a time when apparel retailers compete with online shopping for consumer spending.
The Wayne location will follow the company’s established store format, using natural textures and neutral tones while offering customers assistance assembling complete outfits.
“We believe style has the ability to set the tone,” Caprice stated. “When you feel confident in what you’re wearing, you approach your day differently.”
The Gateway Shopping Center store is scheduled to open Tuesday, Aug. 26.
