WEST CHESTER, PA — Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: VRCA) has announced the appointment of Dr. Gavin Corcoran to its Board of Directors.

Dr. Corcoran currently serves as Chief Development Officer at Formation Bio and brings extensive experience in R&D leadership roles, including positions at Sio Gene Therapies, Allergan, and Stiefel Laboratories.
Dr. Corcoran expressed enthusiasm about the company’s trajectory, noting the growing adoption of YCANTH®, Verrica’s treatment for molluscum contagiosum, and the potential of its development pipeline in addressing unmet needs in dermatology.
Holding an M.B. B.Ch. from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, Dr. Corcoran completed clinical training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
