VALLEY FORGE, PA — Vanguard said it recently launched Expert Insights, an AI-enabled portfolio analysis tool designed to help financial advisors generate personalized investment guidance and scale client support.
The company said the tool combines its portfolio analysis methodology with generative AI to deliver real-time insights based on client portfolios.
Vanguard said demand for its portfolio analysis services has increased significantly, with advisor engagements rising about fourfold over the past six years.
Expert Insights is currently being tested with a group of advisors and is expected to be integrated into Vanguard’s Portfolio Analytics Tool later in 2026, providing broader access.
“When advisors share their portfolios with us, we can work together on a powerful goal: helping create better outcomes for investors,” said Amma Boateng, managing director of Financial Advisor Services at Vanguard.
The tool is designed to help advisors evaluate portfolios, identify risks, and communicate investment strategies more efficiently, the company said.
Sid Ratna, head of digital and analytics for Financial Advisor Services at Vanguard, said the tool aims to simplify how advisors interpret and present portfolio data.
“With Expert Insights, we’re providing advisors with a clear, straightforward way of communicating the advantages of their clients’ portfolios,” Ratna said.
Vanguard has introduced additional tools in recent years to support advisors, including AI-generated article summaries, portfolio stress testing features, a health care cost estimator, and a Social Security calculator.
The company, founded in 1975, provides investment management, advisory, and retirement services to individual and institutional investors worldwide.
