BERWYN, PA — Envestnet is tightening integration across its Tamarac wealth-management platform in its third technology release of 2026, connecting trading data directly with its CRM while expanding reporting, financial-planning, and client-portal tools for registered investment advisors.
The release links cash and security reserve information from Tamarac Trading directly to financial-account records in Tamarac CRM, reducing the need for advisors to move between systems. CRM users can also see performance inception dates sourced from Tamarac Reporting.
The Schwab Beneficiaries integration now supports additional beneficiary designations available through Schwab Advisor Center, including trust, estate and organization roles. Previously, the integration was limited to primary and contingent beneficiaries.
“Advisors today expect their technology to work together, not in silos,” Ryan Bamert, principal director of product management for Tamarac at Envestnet, stated. “When advisors aren’t reconciling data across systems, they can spend that time on the conversations that matter most to their clients.”
Envestnet is also expanding Report Studio, Tamarac Reporting’s report-building system. Firms can now establish Report Studio PDFs as default account templates, generate them from Accounts and Households pages and schedule them through the PDF Scheduler.
New reporting data includes committed capital, net worth, tax-planning information and account analytics, including multiple on invested capital, vintage year grouping, standard deviation and dividend and capital-movement data.
An expression builder allows firms to construct custom calculated metrics, while a new billing section incorporates detailed or summarized fee calculations, adjustments and allocations from saved billing history into reports.
Firms can also use custom images or multipage PDFs as report backgrounds, including for cover pages, disclosures and market commentary. Additional controls cover fonts, colors, borders, spacing and chart presentation.
The release introduces two artificial intelligence features in beta. An AI-assisted migration tool is designed to convert legacy reports into Report Studio templates, while an AI Data Analyst Agent allows users to query account data using natural language. Envestnet indicated that AI interactions are logged and input guardrails are incorporated into the tools.
Financial-planning data is being brought further into Tamarac through Envestnet’s MoneyGuide. A new dashboard surfaces client planning information within Tamarac, while client records gain a MoneyGuide Summary tab covering net worth, asset allocation and plan summaries.
The Tamarac Client Portal now supports MoneyGuide Wealth Studios as a data source for net-worth pages and widgets. Firms can choose whether those displays draw from standard reporting, MoneyGuide or Wealth Studios.
New ownership views separate assets and liabilities by individual owner and whether they are inside or outside an estate. Net Worth and Success widgets can also link clients directly to more detailed Wealth Studios pages.
Envestnet is restructuring other parts of the client portal, including allowing performance in the Comparative Review Report to be grouped by account type, custodian, objective, tax status or custom fields. The Document Vault now uses paginated lists instead of a single continuous file list.
Firms can add support information, business hours and other customized text to their sign-in screens.
“Clients notice the difference when a report is clear, well-organized, and easy to navigate,” Nate Johnson, product management director for Tamarac at Envestnet, observed. “The enhancements across Tamarac in the R3 rollout are designed to make sure every touchpoint — from a scheduled PDF to a login screen — reflects the professionalism advisors have already built into their practices.”
The CRM update also adds an editable Word export for client profiles, a separated option for marital status and Microsoft Power Automate templates for workflows including client-information updates and incoming-deposit requests.
Envestnet also expanded Tamarac CRM help resources covering Microsoft Teams phone and conversation-intelligence integration and Microsoft Power Automate connectors.
