Business News

WEST CHESTER, PA — Accounting firm Fischer Cunnane & Associates Ltd. is expanding its footprint in southeastern Pennsylvania through the addition of Wyncote-based Kalos Hutchings & Company, a move that extends the firm’s presence into Montgomery County and adds six accounting professionals to its team.

The transaction also broadens Fischer Cunnane’s expertise in serving real estate investors, developers and privately held businesses, sectors that have remained active across the Philadelphia suburbs.

Founded in the 1960s and headquartered in West Chester, Fischer Cunnane provides accounting, tax, audit and advisory services to businesses and high-net-worth individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia region.

“We are excited to welcome the Kalos Hutchings team to Fischer Cunnane,” Rick Stiebritz, president and managing shareholder of Fischer Cunnane, said in a statement. “By establishing a stronger presence in Montgomery County and adding talented professionals with deep experience in real estate and closely held businesses, we are enhancing our ability to serve clients throughout southeastern Pennsylvania.”

Kalos Hutchings has built its practice around tax, accounting and advisory services for individuals, real estate investors, property managers and privately held companies. The addition expands Fischer Cunnane’s geographic reach into Montgomery County while increasing its specialization in real estate-related services.

“Our firms share a common philosophy centered on client service, technical excellence, and long-term relationships,” stated James A. Hutchings, CPA, a member and co-founder of Kalos Hutchings. “Joining Fischer Cunnane creates exciting opportunities for our clients and our team.”

The firms indicated that clients will continue working with their existing advisors while gaining access to a broader range of accounting, consulting and advisory services.

The expansion comes as accounting firms nationwide continue to pursue mergers and acquisitions to broaden service offerings, add specialized expertise and expand regional footprints amid increasing demand for advisory and tax planning services.
