WEST CHESTER, PA — F2 Strategy acquired Toronto-based Intelligo Partners, expanding its investment technology implementation business in Canada as wealth and asset managers increase spending on platform modernization.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition broadens F2’s consulting capabilities in investment platform implementation and follows the firm’s recent purchase of Meradia, strengthening its position in the Canadian asset and wealth management market.

Founded in 2012, Intelligo Partners advises asset and wealth managers on investment technology strategy, platform implementations and post-deployment support. The firm has worked with Canadian investment organizations on technology transformation projects.

The combined organization will provide consulting services spanning strategic planning, operations, investment platform implementation, data transformation and ongoing technology support.

“Canada represents one of the most important growth markets for our business, and organizations across the region are investing in the platforms and capabilities needed to support the next generation of asset and wealth management,” F2 Chief Executive Officer Ryan Beach stated.

Beach said Intelligo’s implementation expertise and client relationships would strengthen F2’s ability to support financial institutions undertaking large-scale technology initiatives.

Tom Hong, managing partner of Intelligo Partners, said the acquisition would allow the firm’s clients to access broader transformation capabilities while maintaining its advisory and implementation services.

F2 said the transaction is part of its strategy to expand its North American consulting platform serving asset and wealth managers as firms move from artificial intelligence pilot programs toward broader enterprise technology modernization.
