EXTON, PA — In case you missed it, BODYBAR Pilates is preparing to open its second Pennsylvania studio in Exton on November 16, expanding the fitness franchise’s regional presence with a 2,300-square-foot facility offering reformer-based Pilates classes and discounted memberships for early customers.
The studio, located at 232 Eagleview Boulevard, Suite 110, will be owned and operated by first-time franchisees Preeti and Kartik Gandhi. The opening date remains subject to construction schedules.
The Exton location will accommodate 14 Pilates reformers and offer instructor-led classes focused on strength, balance and mobility. The company markets its workouts to participants across different fitness levels.
The opening comes as BODYBAR continues expanding nationally, with more than 23,000 members, over 70 studios in development and 12 additional locations scheduled to open before the end of 2026.
The Exton investment marks the Gandhis’ entry into franchise ownership. Preeti Gandhi has more than a decade of experience in fitness and nutrition and currently works as a nutritionist supporting clients navigating menopause and vegetarian lifestyles.
She also works as a senior product manager and plans to pursue certification as a BODYBAR Pilates instructor.
Preeti will oversee customer-facing operations, supported by a full-time studio team, while Kartik will manage financial administration and human resources.
The couple began exploring franchise opportunities after becoming empty nesters, identifying growing local interest in Pilates as a potential business opportunity.
“What initially drew me to BODYBAR was its inclusivity,” Preeti Gandhi said, citing the company’s approach to accommodating participants with different physical abilities.
The franchise is offering founding memberships at discounted rates ahead of the opening. Memberships purchased through October 26 qualify for a 15% discount, while those purchased afterward and before opening day qualify for a 10% discount.
According to the company, founding members will retain their discounted rates for the life of their memberships and receive priority booking and access to a complimentary class before the studio opens.
The business has also scheduled community events ahead of its launch.
A founding-member preview was held October 21, giving early members and invited guests an opportunity to tour the facility and meet the studio team.
A Trunk or Treat event is scheduled for Thursday, October 29, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., featuring local vendors, food, refreshments, crafts, permanent jewelry and candy. Registration is required.
BODYBAR co-founder and President Kamille McCollum said the Exton location is part of the company’s continued expansion in Pennsylvania.
The new studio will add another fitness option to the Eagleview commercial area as BODYBAR seeks to expand its customer base through locally operated franchises.
