WEST CHESTER, PA — In case you missed it, A. Duie Pyle recently opened a 44-door freight service center in the Greater Cincinnati area, extending its direct less-than-truckload network into Southwest Ohio and strengthening shipping connections between the region and the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
The West Chester-based logistics company said the facility will initially add 21 jobs, with employment expected to reach approximately 36 by the end of 2026 as operations expand.
Located at 6549 Allen Road in West Chester Township, Ohio, the service center gives manufacturers, distributors and other businesses in the Cincinnati market direct access to Pyle’s freight transportation network.
The expansion increases the company’s capacity to handle less-than-truckload shipments, which combine freight from multiple customers rather than requiring an entire trailer for a single shipment.
It also broadens Pyle’s ability to transport freight within Ohio while connecting businesses in the southwestern part of the state with its established service territory in the eastern United States.
Frank Granieri, Pyle’s chief commercial officer, said the Cincinnati location addresses growing customer demand for transportation connections across the company’s operating regions.
“Cincinnati gives us an important presence in Southwest Ohio and allows us to extend Pyle’s direct LTL service to more customers while strengthening the connection between Ohio and our established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets,” Granieri said.
The 44-door facility provides space for transferring shipments between trucks, supporting freight consolidation and distribution throughout the region.
Pyle expects additional hiring opportunities as shipment volumes increase, although its stated employment projection extends through the end of 2026.
The Cincinnati opening is part of the company’s continuing expansion in Ohio, where it is building out its direct-service network to handle more shipments without relying exclusively on outside transportation providers.
The investment also extends Pyle’s geographic reach in a market serving manufacturing, distribution and supply chain operations.
Founded more than a century ago, A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned transportation and logistics company providing asset-based and non-asset-based supply chain services.
The new facility adds Southwest Ohio to its direct less-than-truckload operations, expanding the company’s transportation infrastructure and regional freight coverage.
