WEST CHESTER, PA — A. Duie Pyle has opened a 44-door freight service center in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, extending its direct less-than-truckload network into southwestern Ohio and strengthening shipping connections between the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The West Chester, Pennsylvania-based logistics company located the facility at 6549 Allen Road in West Chester Township, Ohio, positioning it to serve manufacturers, distributors and other businesses operating throughout Greater Cincinnati.

The expansion adds capacity to Pyle’s direct-service network, allowing the company to handle more shipments within Ohio and between the state and its established eastern markets.

Less-than-truckload shipping combines freight from multiple customers into shared truckloads, providing an alternative to dedicated trailers for businesses moving smaller shipments.

The new terminal gives Pyle a direct operating presence in the Cincinnati market as the company expands its transportation network beyond its traditional northeastern and Mid-Atlantic service territory.

The facility is expected to create 21 jobs initially, with employment projected to reach approximately 36 by the end of 2026.

Additional hiring could follow as shipment volumes increase and the company’s operations expand in the region.

“Growing our network is about being where our customers need us and creating stronger connections between the markets they serve,” Frank Granieri, Pyle’s chief commercial officer, said.

“Cincinnati gives us an important presence in Southwest Ohio and allows us to extend Pyle’s direct LTL service to more customers while strengthening the connection between Ohio and our established Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets.”

The investment reflects Pyle’s continued expansion in Ohio, where the company is seeking to increase freight movements within the state while improving connections to its existing network.

For customers in Pennsylvania and other eastern markets, the Cincinnati facility extends Pyle’s direct freight coverage into a region with substantial manufacturing and distribution activity.

The additional terminal also expands the company’s capacity to serve businesses shipping between Ohio and the Northeast without relying exclusively on service arrangements outside its direct network.

Founded more than a century ago, A. Duie Pyle is a family-owned transportation and logistics company providing asset-based and non-asset-based supply chain services.

The Cincinnati opening adds another operating location to its growing freight network, with further employment growth dependent on customer demand and shipment activity.
