WAYNE, PA — iPipeline is restructuring its professional services operations to accelerate technology deployment and improve adoption among life insurance companies, financial institutions and wealth managers, expanding its role from software implementation to ongoing consulting and optimization as artificial intelligence reshapes the industry.
The Wayne-based financial technology provider introduced its Services CORE Methodology and a new Client Value Group, two initiatives designed to reduce implementation complexity, establish more predictable project costs and connect technology investments to measurable business results.
The changes expand iPipeline’s professional services business beyond traditional software installation and support, emphasizing continuous engagement with customers as they modernize insurance and financial services operations.
The CORE framework establishes a standardized approach to consulting and implementation built around four principles: Client, Outcomes, Rapid and Execution.
Under the model, iPipeline will assess customers’ business objectives, establish performance measures tied to operational results and use standardized delivery processes, artificial intelligence and established implementation practices to accelerate deployment.
The company is also expanding its professional services portfolio to include consulting, packaged implementations, Quality-as-a-Service, managed services and Training-as-a-Service.
Its Quality-as-a-Service offering incorporates automated software testing intended to identify problems earlier and shorten deployment timelines. Training-as-a-Service provides on-demand education to support technology adoption across customer organizations.
The expanded services are intended to give insurers and financial institutions more flexibility in managing technology projects while reducing dependence on one-time implementation engagements.
“The landscape of technological innovation is changing as more insurers modernize their operations with operational and AI solutions,” said Mike James, executive vice president of professional services at iPipeline.
“Through our CORE Methodology and Client Value Group, we are responding to a growing need for more consultative services tailored to each company’s unique business requirements,” James said.
The newly established Client Value Group extends iPipeline’s business development operations into advisory services focused on identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, technology adoption and business performance.
Using a structured framework called Value Levers, the group will help customers prioritize operational improvements, select appropriate consulting and implementation services, and adjust technology strategies as business requirements change.
The division will work alongside the CORE services team, separating the identification of business priorities from the execution of technology projects while coordinating both functions throughout the customer relationship.
iPipeline is also introducing packaged and managed service options with more predictable pricing, giving customers greater visibility into implementation costs and timelines.
The changes reflect a broader shift in the company’s approach to customer relationships, with professional services increasingly focused on technology utilization and business performance after initial deployment.
“The decision to adopt and integrate new insurance technology can be a complex, high-stakes endeavor,” said Pat O’Donnell, chief executive officer of iPipeline.
“As operational, AI, and data solutions become more sophisticated, it is no longer enough for a solution provider to install, instruct, and go home,” O’Donnell said.
The restructuring follows iPipeline’s recent integration of iGO Evolve, its AI-optimized life insurance electronic application system, as the first module on Novera, the company’s new AI-first digital platform for life insurance, annuities and wealth management.
Novera is powered by CHARLi, an artificial intelligence foundation designed to connect technology across iPipeline’s product ecosystem.
The combination of the Novera platform and expanded professional services operations positions iPipeline to provide both the software and implementation support for insurers and financial institutions seeking to integrate AI-enabled systems into existing workflows.
For customers, the new model is intended to shift the measure of a technology project’s success from installation and completion milestones toward operational improvements, sustained adoption and returns on technology investments.
