Alliance Seeks Managers for Coatesville Mixed-Use Property

The Alliance for Health Equity

COATESVILLE, PA — The Alliance for Health Equity is seeking property management firms to oversee the residential and commercial operations of its Brandywine Center in Coatesville, a mixed-use facility that combines affordable senior housing with healthcare services, as the nonprofit prepares for a management transition this fall.

The organization has issued two requests for proposals, with the selected firms expected to begin managing the property on Oct. 1, according to the announcement.

Brandywine Center, located at 744 E. Lincoln Highway, includes 24 affordable senior housing units on its upper floors that operate with Section 8 and Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency support. The first and fourth floors house commercial tenants, including Union Community Care, the building’s federally qualified health center.

The Alliance is soliciting separate proposals for the residential and commercial portions of the property.

The residential contract covers management of the 24 senior housing units, including resident services coordination and compliance with affordable housing regulations.

The commercial contract includes management of the building’s business tenants. The Alliance’s board of directors will retain final approval over tenants, while the fourth floor will remain reserved for nonprofit and mission-aligned organizations.

“AHE’s Brandywine Center represents one of the most tangible expressions of our mission, bringing housing and health together under one roof for the people who need it most,” Alliance for Health Equity President and CEO Kevin Ressler said.

“As we move into this next chapter of property management, we’re looking for partners who share our commitment to this community and to the residents and tenants who call Brandywine Center home,” Ressler added.

The organization encouraged firms with experience in Chester County and mission-driven property management to submit proposals for either or both contracts.

Proposals are due by July 31.
