PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Bridge Street will once again become a vibrant celebration of community, inclusion, and self-expression this summer as PrideFest Chester County returns to Phoenixville for its ninth year.

Set for Saturday, June 20, PrideFest has grown into the largest LGBTQIA+ event in Chester County, welcoming thousands of attendees of all ages for a day filled with live entertainment, family activities, community connections, and celebrations of diversity. Organizers with the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County say this year’s festival is expected to be the largest in the event’s history.

The festival will feature more than 150 vendors, community organizations, local businesses, and queer artists, creating opportunities for visitors to connect with resources, discover local talent, and celebrate the region’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Entertainment will take center stage throughout the afternoon, with performances by DJ Triple B, Ants on a Log, Singing Resistance Chesco, Singing Resistance Phoenixville, Tush Push Philly, Love Bash, Queen Roxanne Rohls, and King Cyrus K. Stratton.

“There is no bigger celebration of queer joy than Pride. And in Chester County, there are few celebrations bigger than PrideFest,” said Sean Williams, vice president of the LGBT Equality Alliance of Chester County. “Every year we have more patrons, every year we have more vendors, and every year our joy is louder and brighter.”

Families will find plenty to enjoy throughout the day. The festival’s popular Kids Court will offer face painting, sand art, games, a prize wheel, water ice, and other family-friendly activities. Pet lovers are encouraged to bring their four-legged companions to the Doggie Zone, where dogs can participate in the Best Dressed Doggy Contest.

To accommodate the large crowds expected, organizers have arranged multiple free parking locations and will operate the Rainbow Shuttle throughout the day, making it easier for visitors to travel between parking areas and the festival grounds.

The celebration doesn’t end when PrideFest concludes. Attendees looking to continue the festivities can head to The Colonial Theatre for an official after-party featuring music and entertainment for guests 21 and older.
