SPRING CITY, PA — Costumes, candy, and creatively decorated cars will turn Brown Street Neighborhood Park into a Halloween gathering spot as Spring City families come together for the third annual Spring-Ford Area Trunk or Treat.
The Spring City Police Department will host the Oct. 23 event from 6 to 8 p.m., inviting children to dress in their Halloween costumes and make their way among decorated vehicle trunks to collect treats.
Unlike traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, trunk-or-treat brings participating families and decorated vehicles together in one location, giving children a centralized place to enjoy the Halloween tradition.
Community members can help make the evening possible by volunteering to decorate a trunk or making a donation. Those interested should contact Officer James Mains at 610-948-3456 or jmains@springcitypa.gov by Oct. 19.
