SOUTH COVENTRY TWP, PA — The Owen J. Roberts School Board voted unanimously on October 26 to appoint North Coventry Township resident Danielle Ryan to a vacant director position, restoring the school district’s governing body to full membership following the September resignation of Rita Pederson.

Ryan will serve through December 2027, completing the remainder of the appointment period established for the vacancy.

The appointment followed a competitive selection process in which board members interviewed 10 candidates during an October 12 working session.

Candidates presented their professional qualifications and discussed their priorities for the school district before the board selected Ryan at its October 26 meeting.

Ryan is an attorney with Fox Rothschild LLP. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University and earned her Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School.

A North Coventry Township resident, Ryan joins the board responsible for overseeing district policies, finances, educational programs and administrative operations.

Her appointment returns the board to full membership as the district continues its governance responsibilities during the 2026-27 academic year.
