PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man last week in the Kensington section of the city.
Police reported that officers responded to the 3200 block of Kensington Avenue at approximately 5:18 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, and found Michael Scott-Keitt suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Scott-Keitt was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to police.
Investigators described the suspect as a Black man between approximately 25 and 35 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build, light complexion and beard. Police advised anyone who sees the suspect not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.
The city of Philadelphia is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a homicide case.

The case is being investigated under District Control number 26-24-075999.
