Boomi Tops 24 Software Providers as AI Integration Expands

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Boomi ranked first among 24 application integration software providers in ISG’s 2026 buyers guide, positioning the company ahead of competitors as enterprises seek platforms capable of connecting business applications, managing data and governing autonomous artificial intelligence agents.

ISG Software Research, a division of Information Services Group, classified Boomi in its highest category, Exemplary, and identified it as the only evaluated provider designated a leader across every assessment category.

The company received the highest overall ranking and placed first in capability and product experience. It also earned leadership designations for its platform and customer experience.

The assessment evaluates software providers based on their products and the experience customers have working with them.

ISG cited Boomi’s integration capabilities, application programming interface management and artificial intelligence offerings, along with its customer support, onboarding processes and product development plans.

The research firm also identified Boomi’s expansion into AI-driven integration development, agent management and governance as factors differentiating the company from competitors.

“As organizations move from experimenting with agentic AI to operationalizing it, they need integration, automation and agent governance working together on one foundation,” Boomi Chief Product and Technology Officer Ed Macosky stated.

Agentic AI refers to systems capable of taking actions or completing business processes with varying degrees of autonomy, increasing the importance of coordinating applications, data and operational controls.

“Orchestrating communication and integration among applications, data, systems, tools and processes is essential to enabling agents to execute business processes through autonomous actions,” ISG Research Director Matt Aslett stated.

Boomi recorded its highest individual score in customer experience, reflecting its product roadmap, onboarding and customer relationships, according to the assessment.
