Fairview Road Closures Will Shift Across Chester County

WALLACE TWP & EAST NANTMEAL TWP, PA — Drivers traveling on Fairview Road should prepare for daytime closures beginning Monday as PennDOT crews complete base repair work at two locations. Only one section of Fairview Road will be closed at a time, but motorists should plan extra time, expect delays and follow the posted detours.

The first closure is scheduled for Monday, July 13, and Tuesday, July 14, when Fairview Road will be closed between Little Conestoga Road and Route 401 (Conestoga Road).

Drivers will be directed to use Little Conestoga Road, Route 345 (Bulltown Road) and Route 401 (Conestoga Road).

Beginning Tuesday, July 14, and continuing through Wednesday, July 22, Fairview Road will be closed on weekdays between Route 401 (Conestoga Road) and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike).

During that closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 401 (Conestoga Road) and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike).

PennDOT said only one section of Fairview Road will be closed at any given time, and local access will be maintained throughout the project. Motorists should expect backups near the work zones and along the detour routes.
