PHILADELPHIA, PA — The road to the U.S. Open will make an important stop in Philadelphia this summer as professional women’s tennis returns to the city for the first time in more than two decades.
Tickets are now on sale for the inaugural Ennoble Care Philly Open, a weeklong international tournament that will bring some of the world’s top women’s players to the University of Pennsylvania’s Hamlin Tennis Center from August 23 through 29. Organizers say the event will serve as the only U.S. stop on the Women’s Tennis Association calendar immediately before the U.S. Open, giving fans a rare opportunity to watch elite athletes compete in an intimate setting.
Hosted by the Philadelphia Sisters™ and Topnotch Management, the tournament is one of only four WTA 125 events held in the United States and the only one in the Mid-Atlantic region. Players ranked among the world’s top 100 are expected to compete as they prepare for one of tennis’ biggest stages.
“Philadelphia has an incredible sports culture, and we’re excited to give fans the opportunity to experience world-class women’s tennis in an intimate and energetic setting right in the heart of the city,” said Alexandra Niedbalski-Sykes, president and co-founder of the Philadelphia Sisters.
The tournament’s title sponsor will be Ennoble Care, whose CEO, Kush Das, said bringing professional women’s tennis back to Philadelphia represents an investment in a city that has long embraced major sporting events.
Ticket Options for Every Fan
Organizers have introduced a variety of ticket packages designed to appeal to both casual spectators and dedicated tennis fans.
Options range from $20 single-day tickets to premium hospitality experiences that include reserved seating, food, beverages, and courtside access throughout tournament week. Available ticket tiers include Grandstand Reserved, Philly Reserved, Ace Reserved, Champions Reserved, Hospitality Box, and Courtside Box packages.
“We are excited to harness all of the energy from our initial announcement of the tournament by having tickets now on sale,” said Tournament Director Alex Guthrie. “There are ticketing options available for everyone, ranging from four-person courtside boxes with hospitality to reserved bleacher seating. With our temporary stadium build, there is not a bad seat in the house.”
The event follows the Philadelphia Sisters’ successful efforts to bring major women’s sporting events to the region, including a women’s basketball showcase that attracted more than 21,000 fans earlier this year. Organizers hope the tournament will continue building momentum for women’s professional sports in Philadelphia.
