READING, PA — Penske Logistics has been recognized by Whirlpool Corporation with two supply chain awards, underscoring its role in advancing innovation and efficiency across distribution and freight operations.
The logistics provider received Whirlpool’s 2024 Supply Chain Supplier Award for Digital Transformation after piloting a new warehouse management system (WMS) within its distribution network. The initiative, designed to enhance visibility and operational efficiency, is expected to be expanded across Whirlpool’s broader supply chain.
Penske also earned Whirlpool’s 2024 Supply Chain Supplier Award for Customer Service, reflecting its performance in managing inbound and outbound manufacturing flows, coordinating with suppliers, and overseeing trucking carrier deliveries. Whirlpool highlighted Penske’s adoption of industry-leading standards and customer service innovations as a factor in the award.
