WILMINGTON, DE — Phreesia has been named among TIME’s World’s Top HealthTech Companies for the second consecutive year, gaining recognition for its healthcare technology business as its digital platform supports approximately one in six patient visits across the United States.
The 2026 ranking, compiled by TIME in partnership with data research firm Statista, evaluates healthcare technology companies worldwide based on financial performance, reputation and online engagement.
Phreesia received a “Very High” performance rating in the Health Information & Management category, one of six market segments covered by the ranking.
The recognition comes as Phreesia operates a digital platform used by healthcare providers to manage patient intake, payments, communications and engagement throughout the care process.
Its technology allows healthcare organizations to collect patient information before appointments, process payments, distribute educational materials and encourage patients to obtain recommended medical care.
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Chaim Indig said the company’s reach provides insight into operational challenges facing healthcare providers and patients.
“With Phreesia supporting 1 in 6 patient visits across the U.S., we have a tremendous opportunity to help patients take an active role in their care,” Indig said.
The company’s inclusion for a second year places it among healthcare technology businesses recognized by TIME and Statista for performance across the ranking’s evaluation criteria.
Phreesia’s platform focuses on administrative efficiency and patient engagement, two functions increasingly supported by digital systems as healthcare organizations seek to manage patient interactions before, during and after appointments.
