Wilmington Police Investigating Afternoon Shooting That Injured 21-Year-Old Man

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon in the city’s West Side, leaving a 21-year-old man injured.

According to authorities, the incident took place on August 25, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m. in the area of West 7th and North Adams Streets. Police say the victim later arrived at a hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not yet released details regarding a suspect or possible motive.
