The closures are necessary for roadway reconstruction activities under PennDOT’s $83.6 million project to rehabilitate approximately 2.1 miles of the expressway and replace multiple bridge structures between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road.

Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time, as significant delays and congestion are expected. All work is weather dependent. The long-term project aims to improve traffic flow, safety, and roadway durability along this vital transportation corridor.
