WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that left a 17-year-old female injured late Saturday night. The incident occurred at approximately 10:33 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 3rd Street.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation as authorities work to determine what led to the incident.
