Arrest Warrant Issued for Kennett Square Man in Alleged Assault Incident

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for a Kennett Square man accused of assault and related offenses stemming from an altercation that occurred earlier this week.

Police allege that Santos Diaz-Villanueva, 42, struck a male individual with a rock and left visible scratch marks on a female individual’s neck during an incident on June 23, 2025. The altercation reportedly took place around 3:21 a.m. in the 100 block of West State Street in Kennett Square Borough.

According to authorities, Diaz-Villanueva fled the scene prior to police arriving. Subsequently, an arrest warrant was issued on June 25, 2025, by District Court 15-3-04.

Diaz-Villanueva is facing the following charges:

  • One count of terroristic threats
  • One count of possessing instruments of crime
  • One count of simple assault
  • One count of harassment

Law enforcement described Diaz-Villanueva as a Hispanic male, 42 years old, standing 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
