Man’s Alleged Outburst in Kennett Square Sparks Police Response and Charges

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Officers from the Kennett Square Police Department responded to a disturbance on the 500 block of Center Street on Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 9:57 a.m. The incident involved a male individual, identified as 21-year-old Jesus Corona-Murillo, who was reportedly yelling and throwing objects.

Police observed that Corona-Murillo may have been experiencing a mental health episode, as his behavior fluctuated between calm and irate. During their interaction, Corona-Murillo allegedly removed a THC vaporizer from his pocket and admitted to officers that it contained marijuana.

Given his condition, emergency medical services were called to evaluate him. Corona-Murillo was transported to a hospital for further medical attention.

Following the incident, a criminal complaint was filed in District Court 15-3-04. Corona-Murillo faces charges including disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment, and public drunkenness.

Authorities emphasize that all charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
