PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are asking for public assistance in identifying a man accused of carrying out an alleged armed robbery at a local business.
According to reports from the Philadelphia Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on April 4, 2025, at Herbology, a dispensary located at 2610 Girard Avenue. The suspect reportedly entered the establishment and handed the clerk a note demanding cash from the register. During the encounter, the suspect allegedly brandished a black handgun, prompting the clerk to comply.
Officials estimate that approximately $360 was taken during the incident. The suspect is said to have fled the scene on foot, heading west on Girard Avenue before turning north onto 27th Street.
Police have released a description of the suspect as a Black male in his 20s. He was reportedly wearing a black and gray jacket and carrying a black backpack at the time of the alleged crime. Distinctively, the individual is said to have a black heart tattoo on his nose.
Authorities caution against approaching the suspect if spotted and urge individuals to immediately contact 911.
