Did You Witness It? Police Seek Your Help After Hit-and-Run Causes 5-Vehicle Crash on RT 422

POTTSTOWN, PA — Law enforcement officials are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run that caused a multi-vehicle crash on Route 422 Westbound near Hanover Street on the morning of March 26, 2025.

According to the North Coventry Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 9:55 a.m. and found a collision involving five vehicles, one of which was a construction vehicle. Emergency responders from Norco Fire Company, various fire police units, and Goodwill Ambulance provided critical assistance at the crash site.

Police allege that the vehicle responsible for initiating the accident left the scene prior to their arrival and failed to provide any identifying information. No additional details about the striking vehicle or its driver have been released at this time.

Authorities are urging members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or have relevant information to come forward. Officer Victoria Hipple of the North Coventry Police Department is leading the investigation.
