PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Health Equity Consulting (HEC) Group has announced the addition of Taysha Frazer to its Health Equity Internship Program. A devoted advocate for public health reform, Frazer brings a unique perspective shaped by her lived experiences and academic expertise to the organization’s mission of combating systemic inequities in healthcare access.
Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Management at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Public Health & Health Policy, Frazer has demonstrated a deep commitment to championing health equity, particularly for underserved communities. A first-generation college graduate, she overcame significant challenges, including language barriers, to graduate with honors.

As part of her internship, Frazer will focus on policy research, health equity projects, and efforts targeting social determinants of health. Working closely with cross-sector partners, she aims to drive forward meaningful reforms in healthcare access for disadvantaged populations.
