DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The Downingtown Police Department is looking for new recruits. Whether you are a certified police officer, a police academy cadet, or someone interested in serving the community, there are opportunities available.

Requirements:
  • Mentally and physically fit
  • U.S. citizen aged 21 or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • College credits*
  • Valid driver’s license

*Applicants must have at least 30 college credits from an accredited institution at the time of appointment. There are waivers available that can reduce or eliminate this credit hour requirement.
