PennDOT warned that backups and delays will occur during the seven-hour restriction. Drivers should plan extra time or seek alternate routes when practical.

The work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled if conditions interfere with construction.

The restriction is part of PennDOT’s $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve approximately 2.1 miles of U.S. 422 and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
