PHILADELPHIA, PA — Drivers across the five-county Philadelphia region should prepare for lane closures, flagging operations, and several overnight ramp closures as PennDOT continues resurfacing and roadway improvement work on more than 240 miles of state highways.

In Bucks County, Woodbourne Road will have lane closures with flagging between Cobalt Ridge Drive and Big Oak Road in Middletown Township from Monday through Friday. Restrictions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning for paving.
In Chester County, drivers on Chestnut Tree Road should expect lane closures with flagging between Cupola Road/Creek Road and Route 82 (Manor Road) in Honey Brook and West Nantmeal townships. The work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for base repairs.
In Delaware County, I-95 will have an overnight lane closure between Wanamaker Avenue and the Philadelphia County line in Tinicum Township from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday for milling and paving.
Montgomery County motorists also face several work zones. Church Road will have a moving lane closure between Route 73 (Township Line Road/Cottman Avenue) and Washington Lane in Cheltenham Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday for high-friction surface treatment.
Route 663 (King Street/Charlotte Street) will have lane closures with flagging between Route 100 (Pottstown Boyertown Bypass) and Route 73 (Big Road) in Pottstown Borough, Lower Pottsgrove Township and New Hanover Township. Restrictions are planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning Monday through Friday for milling, paving and utility work.
Game Farm Road will have moving lane closures between Neiffer Road and Route 29 (Main Street) in Lower Frederick and Limerick townships from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday for high-friction surface treatment.
Philadelphia drivers will encounter some of the most extensive restrictions.
Ridge Avenue will have lane closures between Hunting Park Avenue and Spring Garden Street from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday for paving.
Ramps at the U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) and Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) interchange will close overnight Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Drivers will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
Berkley Street/Roberts Avenue will have lane closures between Germantown Avenue and Henry Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday for line striping.
Girard Avenue will have lane closures between Lancaster Avenue and Lansdowne Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, also for line striping.
Another significant restriction is planned on northbound I-95. The ramp to Allegheny Avenue at Exit 25 will close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday through Friday for milling and paving.
During that closure, northbound I-95 drivers will be directed to use Exit 26 for Aramingo Avenue, continue on Aramingo Avenue and then use Westmoreland Street to reach the Allegheny Avenue area.
Drivers should plan extra time and expect delays through the affected work zones and along detour routes. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
