PennDOT Announces Roadwork on Chester and Bucks County Highways

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has outlined plans for milling and paving operations on several state highways in Chester and Bucks counties. This work is part of a region-wide effort to resurface over 200 miles of roadways in the Philadelphia area.

Scheduled Road Closures in Chester County (March 24 – March 28, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM):
  • Broad Run Road between Good Hope Road and Newark Road in London Britain and New Garden townships.
  • North Creek Road between Glenloch Drive and Chesterville Road in Franklin Township.
  • Corby Road/Pennock Bridge Road between Route 896 (Newark Road) and Route 841 (Wickerton Road) in Franklin, New London, and Penn townships.
  • Clay Creek Road/Northbank Road between Church Hill Road and Chesterville Road in Franklin and London Britain townships.
  • Stricklersville Road between Route 472 (Lewisville Road) and the London Britain Township line in Elk and Franklin townships.

Scheduled Road Closures in Bucks County (March 31 – May 16, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM):
  • Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike/Maple Avenue) between Buck Road and Lincoln Highway in Middletown, Lower Southampton townships, and Langhorne Borough (weeknights only).

  • Motorists should plan for extra travel time due to anticipated delays and backups near work zones.
  • Local access will remain available for residents up to the construction areas.
