WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference is this Saturday, and you can still register for the free event dedicated to workshops, networking, pampering and giveaways with free lunch and childcare provided to all single mothers in Chester County.

Title sponsored by Benchmark Federal Credit Union and organized by the Chester County Community Collaborative, the 11th Annual Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference will be held this Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in West Chester. The conference theme is “Building Momentum,” and this year’s workshop topics have just been released including: Positive Influence Leads to Positive Results, Hidden Secrets of the Virtual World, Life Is a Balance, Childcare – The Big Investment, Be Smart With Your Money, and So You Want to Buy a House? https://singlemotherscc.org/registration/

“This year’s workshop topics were handpicked from recommendations provided by Chester County’s single mothers, and I’m particularly excited about the workshops covering mentorship and keeping your kids safe online,” said Rebecca Worthington, Vice President of Community Relations at Benchmark Federal Credit Union, which is leading the workshop titled “Be Smart With Your Money.”

“We welcome all single mothers: divorced, widowed, grandmothers raising grandchildren and single by choice,” said Conference Co-Chair Guillermina Rios. “This year’s theme is ‘Building Momentum’ because we are reflecting on the challenges we’ve overcome over the past three years, as well as the need to rebuild togetherness, engagement and education.”

The Chester County Single Mothers’ Conference is held every year to encourage, educate and empower single mothers whose role is primary provider for the family. The Chester County Community Collaborative organizes the annual conference for the more than 9,000 single mothers who reside in Chester County.
