Westtown-East Goshen Police Department Joins Hands with One Warm Coat for a Heartwarming Cause

One Warm Coat

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Westtown-East Goshen Police Department (WEGO) is once again ready to spread warmth in our community as they partner with One Warm Coat, a national nonprofit organization. They are calling upon the residents to join this noble cause by donating new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.

The collection drive will run until November 17. You can drop off your donations at the WEGO Police Department or East Goshen Township building, Monday through Friday, during office hours. With the support of generous contributors over the years, WEGO has collected thousands of coats, showing the power of community spirit.

One Warm Coat, since its establishment in 1992, has been an emblem of volunteerism and environmental sustainability. They have successfully facilitated 50,000 coat drives across the country, collecting and distributing 8 million coats to those in need. The organization stands firm on its belief that every person, child or adult, has the right to shelter from the elements.

This collaboration between WEGO and One Warm Coat is more than just about collecting coats. It’s about sharing warmth, one coat at a time, and demonstrating that together, we can make a difference. So, let’s come together, donate, and help our community members stay warm this winter. Your contribution can bring a smile to someone’s face and warmth to their heart.
