WEST CHESTER, PA — The Fund for Women and Girls announced the launch of CivicG+ (formerly GirlGov Chester County), an advocacy program for young women and gender-expansive youth, grades 10-12. This civic engagement leadership program runs from September through April, and focuses on education, empowerment, and advocacy. Participants will engage with peers, women in leadership, elected officials, and government employees through various activities throughout the year during monthly meetings and events.
CivicG+ is the youth civic engagement program The Fund’s Girls Advisory Board (GAB), a youth philanthropy program that just completed its 18th year. Applications for both of youth leadership programs, CivicG+ and GAB are open now through June 16, 2023.
