WEST CHESTER, PA — An evening of reflection, celebration, and community support is set to shine a spotlight on five decades of life-changing work in Chester County.
The Domestic Violence Center of Chester County will mark its 50th anniversary with the annual All That’s Purple Gala, bringing together supporters, advocates, and community leaders for a night dedicated to honoring survivors and the organization’s lasting impact.
Held at the Mendenhall Inn, this year’s milestone event celebrates half a century of providing critical services—from emergency shelter and counseling to legal advocacy and prevention education—for individuals and families facing domestic violence.
A Night to Celebrate and Support
The gala promises an elegant and engaging evening, featuring live entertainment, passed hors d’oeuvres, a seated dinner, and a two-hour open bar.
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in both live and silent auctions, with proceeds supporting DVCCC’s ongoing mission to provide no-cost services to those in need.
Dr. Dolly Wideman-Scott, CEO of DVCCC, will deliver remarks highlighting the organization’s history, progress, and continued commitment to reducing domestic violence across the region.
Honoring a Legacy of Care
For 50 years, DVCCC has served as a vital resource in Chester County, offering a lifeline to survivors through comprehensive support services and a 24-hour hotline.
The All That’s Purple Gala not only celebrates that legacy but also helps ensure those services continue for years to come.
