GLEN MILLS, PA — Sow Good Now brought dozens of pickleball players together for a full day of competition and community giving during its fourth annual Pickleball Saturday fundraiser on September 19 at the Concord Township Courts in Glen Mills.
The event featured three morning round robins for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players, with 20 participants competing in each division. The action continued in the afternoon with 14 teams taking part in the Brine Cup tournament.
Shawn Ganow and Kiddi Vu of Ace Downingtown emerged as the 2026 Brine Cup champions, capping a day that combined spirited competition with fundraising for Sow Good Now’s youth-focused programs.
Beyond the courts, participants supported the nonprofit through merchandise purchases and raffles. Prizes included a three-month Ace Downingtown membership, a basket of Beckmen Vineyards wine, Dymon Mayhem, Head Radical and Head Gravity pickleball paddles, and VIP tickets to a Philadelphia Flyers game against the Colorado Avalanche.
Winners of the morning round robins also took home prizes, including complimentary massages and free play and lessons at Penn Oaks Tennis & Fitness. Coffee and fresh-pressed juices from Juice Pod Malvern and a visit from Mr. Softee added to the community atmosphere throughout the event.
The fundraiser supports Sow Good Now, a 501(c)(3) public charity that pairs volunteer high school and college athletes with youth in underserved communities. Its programs use sports to promote mentorship, skill sharing, philanthropy, and equipment drives.
