MALVERN, PA — Football can build more than athletic skills. On June 13, it will become a bridge connecting student-athletes and young people from across the region through a day focused on mentorship, leadership, and community service.

Sow Good Now will host the fourth annual Great Valley Football GiveBack on Saturday, June 13, bringing together members of the Great Valley High School football team and youth from the KB Foundation for a shared experience designed to foster teamwork, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.

The event will take place at Great Valley High School and will unite student-athletes with young men from Philadelphia and Norristown through activities centered on service, leadership development, and community engagement.

The KB Foundation has worked since 2017 to support youth in Philadelphia and Norristown through mentorship programs, educational opportunities, and hands-on experiences aimed at helping young people build confidence, life skills, and new opportunities.

During the GiveBack, Great Valley football players will step into mentorship roles, working alongside participants from the KB Foundation through activities intended to encourage collaboration and connection. Organizers say the event offers young people from different communities an opportunity to learn from one another while experiencing the positive impact sports can have beyond competition.

The program reflects Sow Good Now’s mission of encouraging student-athletes to use their influence and talents to serve others while developing a lifelong commitment to community involvement.

By bringing together athletes and youth from across the Greater Philadelphia region, the event aims to create lasting connections while demonstrating how sports can help build leadership, empathy, and civic engagement.
