WEST CHESTER, PA — Chester County’s Latino Luncheon, a vibrant professional group, has announced the celebration of its 10th Annual Latin Night is set for Friday, May 17. This cherished fundraising event promises a night filled with fun, networking, and, most importantly, support for a noble cause.

Since its inception in 2003, the Latino Luncheon has grown from a small gathering organized by the former Dean of Undergraduate Students from West Chester University, Dr Idna M Corbett, and other faculty members along with private individuals. The aim was to forge a path for Latino students to find internships around West Chester. Today, the Luncheon has blossomed into a community of over 700 members, relentlessly working to enhance diversity competence in Chester County.

A crucial part of this mission involves their notable scholarship fund. Established in 2011, this initiative has made an enduring impact on the lives of many Latino students attending West Chester University and Immaculata University. Over the years, the scholarship fund has distributed around $42,000 to 28 deserving students, each with their own inspirational story.

The Latin Night event is not only about rejoicing in a night of music, food, and dance but also about aiding a valuable cause. The proceeds bolster the Latino Luncheon scholarship fund, bestowed directly to the university accounts of the scholarship recipients.

Attendees can look forward to a lively ambiance curated by local DJ Jose Maneiro, who is sure to lift spirits with his vibrant mix. The $70 tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite and include an open bar and buffet from 7 pm to 11 pm at the VFW Post 106, located at 837 Lincoln Ave, West Chester, PA 19380.
