Police Search for Upper Darby Man Wanted in Sharon Hill Burglary Case

SHARON HILL, PA — Authorities in Sharon Hill have issued an arrest warrant for a 39-year-old Upper Darby man accused of multiple offenses stemming from an incident that occurred in early September.

According to the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department, the warrant for Cedric Ray Dowtin was issued on October 21, 2025, in connection with an alleged crime that took place on September 2 within the borough. The charges include burglary, criminal trespass, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

Police said a search warrant was executed on October 22 at a known residence of Dowtin in Upper Darby Township, but he was not present when officers arrived. Investigators are now urging Dowtin to make arrangements to surrender himself to authorities as soon as possible.

Dowtin is described as a 39-year-old Black male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown eyes and other-colored hair.

Officials emphasize that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
