Kennett Square Man Arrested After Spitting in Police Officer’s Faces

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Kennett Square Police have arrested Edgar Lemus-Camacho, age 19, of Kennett Square for Aggravated Assault and other related offenses, following a report of a verbal domestic.

Authorities state that the incident occurred on July 10, 2022, at approximately 12:48 AM, in the 700 Block of South Washington Street. Once on location, Lemus-Camacho was observed to be belligerent with his parents and became verbally abusive towards Officers. He resisted being taken into custody and once back at police headquarters, spat in two Officer’s faces after marijuana and controlled substances were located on his person.

Lemus-Camacho was transported to Central Booking for processing and housing pending a preliminary hearing.
