Bench Warrant Issued for Man After Court No-Show in Assault Case

WEST CHESTER, PA — A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of 24-year-old Devante Tymere Boddy-Jacobs, who failed to appear at his scheduled preliminary hearing at District Court 15-1-02 on December 11, 2023.

Boddy-Jacobs had been due in court for charges stemming from an incident that occurred on Baldwin Drive on October 29, 2023. The charges include one count each of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment.

The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Mackenzie W. Smith after Boddy-Jacobs failed to appear at his hearing. The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department is currently holding the warrant.

Boddy-Jacobs is described as a Black male, standing 5’8″ tall, weighing approximately 180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
