KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Kennett Square police filed stalking and harassment charges Sept. 3 against two women accused of repeatedly contacting and threatening a female victim over several months.
Police identified the defendants as Cheyenne Turcol, 27, of Newark, Delaware, and Victoria Parente, 26, of Lynbrook, New York.
According to police, the investigation began in April after the victim reported receiving repeated communications that allegedly caused her emotional distress and made her fear for her safety.
Investigators allege Turcol and Parente repeatedly contacted the victim by text message, made threats and engaged in harassing behavior.
Police reported that the victim said she felt intimidated and feared for her well-being because of the alleged conduct.
Turcol and Parente were each charged with one count of stalking and one count of harassment involving repeated anonymous communications, according to police.
The cases are pending preliminary hearings in District Court 15-3-04.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
