Quick Stop, Quick Theft: Police Seek Porch Pirate Suspect

EAST LANSDOWNE, PA — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of stealing a package from a residential porch Monday afternoon.

According to the East Lansdowne Police Department, the incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. April 20 in the 500 block of Pembroke Avenue.

Police reported the suspect exited a SEPTA bus, walked a short distance to a residence, and allegedly removed a package from the porch before fleeing on foot.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone who recognizes the individual to contact police at 610-259-2308 or submit tips via email at TIPS@ELPD.ORG.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
