KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Kennett Square police are seeking the whereabouts of an Arkansas man wanted on identity theft and conspiracy charges stemming from an investigation that began last year.
According to the Kennett Square Police Department, officers responded to the 600 block of D Street on Nov. 24, 2025, after a resident reported that their personal information had allegedly been used without authorization to apply for multiple apartment rentals in Texas.
Police reported that investigators obtained search warrants for email accounts and conducted additional investigative measures that allegedly linked Frederick Braswell of Maumelle, Arkansas, and a female associate to the scheme.
Based on the investigation, authorities filed a criminal complaint and obtained an arrest warrant for Braswell on June 15, 2026.
Braswell, who police describe as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, is wanted on charges of identity theft and criminal conspiracy.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
